Sorry but just a quick wrap of the Seniors games (busy weekend) .. Up at a very cold Slade Park The Lakes were too good on the day and took victory in all 3 grades. 3rds was close, finishing at 7-12, the gap a little bigger in 2nds 20-31, with 1sts on the wrong end of a 31-46 scoreline. Congratulations to Adam Chettle, a Country u18s rep last season, who today got his first game time in first grade - scoring a try and impressing with some try saving defence. Best wishes from all of us at the Club to Jakob van der Bruggen for a quick recovery after his injury during 3rd grade today, as always huge thanks to Stan Priestley for his exceptional care of our injured players. At Kariong our Womens 7s team had a great day against the Hornsby squad, winning both games, 32-5 and 19-10!
