A short day at the Sharkpool and mixed results for our Senior teams. In the womens 7s it was a great start with a 10-5 victory in the first game v Terrigal. Both tries to Elana Withnall. In the second match it was one try difference again with our girls on the wrong side of the 7-12 score with Inge Visser scoring the try and converting it. The team is improving every week and starting to get the results to match the hard work they are putting in at training. 1pt Rachael Elcoate & Hannah Stewart, 2pts Summer Witt, 3pts Inge Visser, with Summer Witt the players player. Over at the Haven it was a tight match in the u19s with our boys claiming a valuable 14-13 win. Tries to Tom Wood & Liam Vanezis with Reece Piepers converting both. 1pt Sebastian Eguia & Michael Houssenloge, 2pts Reece Piepers & Harry Layton, 3pts Tom Wood, with Solomon Shepherd the players player. Thirds also in a very close match missing out 19-23. Tries to Daniel Ranson, Rob Magrath & Shane McMillan, conversions to Will Byrne & Rylie Lewis. 1pt Nick Rendall & Will Byrne, 2pts Rob Rob Magrath, 3pts on his return to the Club Joshua Fash Meadham. Will Byrne was the players player. Next week Senior teams at Kariong except 3s who have a bye.
