Another father-son combination for the Sharks when Chris & Rylie Lewis teamed up as centres in 3rd Grade today. So many in recent years it is great to see that we truly are the family Club.

These young men last year were busy winning their second u19 premiership. Today we only had a 7 man pack for most of the game, and when these five were on the field it probably had to be the youngest pack of forwards we have ever fielded in 1st Grade. Age didn't matter though, they were exceptional in all facets of the game. There are more players from that successful u19s team just waiting for their opportunity as well ... the future is bright for the Sharks!
It’s going to be a cold one at Heazlett tomorrow - 7-13’s play at home tomorrow. 15’s at Ettalong at 9.30 and the 16’s boys played tonight and won against Ourimbah, u15’s played at Warnervale not sure of the result.
If your looking for something to do come down and support the juniors - they love having the seniors and supporters about ! Senior Sharks are playing away this Saturday. The three Grade teams are at Gosford Showground, starting with 3rds at 12:30, 2nds at 1:40 and then the main game at 3pm. The u19s are on an early bus to Newcastle, they are playing Hamilton Hawks at Passmore Oval Wickham - kicking off at 9:50. The Womens 7s are at Woy Woy Oval with their two games at 10:40 & 12:10. Plenty of options starting with the Junior games at Heazlett from 8am. Get your winter gear and extra layers on, and keep warm on the sideline by cheering the Sharks players wherever you might be! |
