Here is a pic of Andrew Lawler & Ronan Marks - two fine young men who are currently in NZ gaining experience for their refereeing careers. Both played Junior Rugby for the Sharks before moving into refereeing under the guidance of Brett Beaumont. They have already controlled CCRU 1st grade games and have the talent and dedication to go a long way with the whistle. The Avoca Beach Golden Oldies assisted with their trip and with introducing them to the Wellington Rugby Referees. They have already reffed schools games over there and will hopefully quickly work their way up to higher grades. Our Club has a long history of providing referees as well as players who advance past Club level and it is great see Andy & Ronan aiming to be the best in their chosen career. Cheers Boys!
