Special General Meeting
Heazlett Park Clubhouse, 7:30pm, Tuesday 22 March. The only business to be conducted at the meeting is a resolution to adopt an updated Constitution for Avoca Beach Rugby Club.

Volunteer(s) required - Seniors first aid/strapper. Frank Latham has been caring for our players for a very long time and will now be found cheering from the sidelines. Our medical team is still headed by physio Stan Priestley, with Peter Woods providing the immediate on-field first aid. We are seeking persons who have (or are willing to obtain) first aid qualifications to be at Senior home and away venues from approximately 1030am every Saturday, and through to after-game game injury checks when 1sts finish around 430pm.
If you have previous strapping experience that will obviously be an advantage, but Stan will provide training if required. Do not rule yourself out if you cannot commit to the full day every saturday - we are hoping that there will be a few suitable applicants so the the workload can be shared. Assistance to attend advanced first aid & sports trainer courses can be provided. Matt Hodgson returned to the Central Coast with his Western Force team to play a trial against the Wellington Hurricanes at Central Coast Stadium on 3 February. While Matt was not needed to play, a huge number of Avoca people went to the match to support his team. Players from our u13s were ballboys and did a great job. Matt also donated a signed Western Force jersey to the "best dressed" Avoca supporter in Shark gear. This was awarded to Hudson Mezritz, also from our u13s. It was great to see top level rugby back on the coast and hopefully this will become a regular event.
