This Saturday our Seniors take on Kariong in all 4 Grades. All matches are very important, though first grade really need the win to keep the good recent drive to a top 4 position rolling along. Added incentive will be to help honour one of the true legends of the Club, Emile Thomas, who will be running out for his 200th First Grade game!! An amazing feat joining his great mates Justin Staben & Pete Steele as the only Sharks to have reached that milestone. Emile has only played 208 games for the Club, so the real question is .. which coaches didn't pick him in 1sts? He has won many first grade Premierships, represented CCRU on countless occasions and also been selected in the NSW Country teams. Emile is someone that everyone looks up to and respects, and he is giving back so much to the Club helping out Junior teams. Not many more years to go before he can start planning games with his sons , wouldn't be surprised if he is still in first grade when that happens! Make sure you are all at the Sharkpool on Saturday to cheer Emile on, to support him in that game and to thank him for the other 199 1st grade games he has given to the Club. Cheers Emile!
