Matt Hodgson returned to the Central Coast with his Western Force team to play a trial against the Wellington Hurricanes at Central Coast Stadium on 3 February. While Matt was not needed to play, a huge number of Avoca people went to the match to support his team. Players from our u13s were ballboys and did a great job. Matt also donated a signed Western Force jersey to the "best dressed" Avoca supporter in Shark gear. This was awarded to Hudson Mezritz, also from our u13s. It was great to see top level rugby back on the coast and hopefully this will become a regular event.
