And for the boys from last years u17s and last years u19s they were after their own consecutive victories. First half was scoreless for a long time before a Kye Blair try from a quick tap that was converted by Reece Piepers, who then kicked a penalty right on half time to make it 10-0. Almost straight after the break they were in for a converted try and it was back to 10-7. Another penalty to Reece Piepers took it to 13-7 then Michael Houssenloge was under the posts for a converted try before another penalty to Reece Piepers to go with his conversion to wrap up the 23-7 win. Reece Piepers was named the CCRU player of the match for his damaging running from the back, solid defence and perfect goalkicking. As Robert Burns has already mentioned, local businesses donate awards for the Grand Finals. Players player and 3pts to Michael Houssenloge, 2pts Sebastian Eguia, 1pt Matt Peebles.
