From the moment the U12’s hit the grass at Central Coast Stadium it was clear they had one thing on their mind – another Premiership along with a little bit of biffo and great acting skills from Alex!!
Co Captained by Ben Johnston and Lachlan Thomas the boys made an instant impact scoring two tries within the first 9 minutes of the game, it was clear from that moment that the team were going to be hard to beat.
A Try by Ben Johnston and a hat trick to Declan Richardson in the first half, second half saw Ben in for another, Alex Power & Toby Payne score tries and conversions by Lachlan Thomas x2 and Isaiah Brettoner x3. End Score 45-7.
Have to admit though it’s the first time we have ever witnessed the Captain’s from both sides being sin binned in the last 5 minutes of the game! They now understand the reasoning behind it.
Well done to the team but a special congratulations to the boys who tried rugby for this first time this year Tyke Harvey, Daniel Derbyshire, Liam Peterson, Dylan Jackson and Declan Richardson, you boys have become part of a great rugby team and rugby club. Congrats to the rest of the boys you are all champions.

We have an awesome group of boys however they wouldn’t get to where they are, Premiers for 3 years in a row without the help, support and dedication from the Coaching Staff Les Cousins, Emile Thomas, and Sean Starkey and of course the parents.
Finally thank you to Deborah Morris and Julia Ninness and the other Club Officials for all you have done for the Juniors this year, many wouldn’t understand the amount of time and effort that goes in behind the scenes however U12 greatly appreciates your commitment.
